THE NEW UEFA MATCH KITS WILL BE SEEN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ISTANBUL FOR THE FINAL OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

The new UEFA match kits, designed and made by Macron, the "Official UEFA Referee Match Kit Supplier", will be seen for the first time during the long-awaited UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter on Saturday, June 10 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

The Macron Hero logo, which has been on the shirts of match officials in men's and women's UEFA football since 2019, will therefore play an important role in Europe's most prestigious match, alongside the teams of Pep Guardiola and Simone Inzaghi. The new kit will be supplied to all referee teams in official UEFA matches for the two-year period of 2023-25, starting in the early stages of next season's European club competitions.

Like the previous UEFA referee suit, the new one is made of Eco Softlock, a polyester fabric made entirely from recycled plastic. Together with the excellent quality and high-tech materials, the new kit provides unparalleled comfort and practicality to support the vitally important role that referees and their supporting officials play. It also sends a clear message of sustainability and respect for the environment.

The new shirt is available in four different color variants: black, fluorescent yellow, fluorescent blue, and the new fluorescent red version, which the UEFA referees will wear in Istanbul. The shirt features a knitted round neck and practical pockets with Velcro closure at the front. A dot pattern and the UEFA logo are alternately embossed on the front and sleeves. The Macron Hero is located on the right side of the chest and on the shoulders. On the left sleeve, there is a patch with the "UEFA FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN" logo.

The UEFA referee equipment is completed by shorts - black for all four color variants - with back pockets with Velcro closure. The socks are the same color as the shirt. The Slim Fit shirts are made of Eco Softlock fabric with Eco Micromesh inserts for maximum breathability.
